Genesis Learning Academy Childcare & Development Center is a facility that is new to the Cliffdale area of Fayetteville, NC. It is our mission to provide a safe, caring, and supportive learning development environment that would be the needs of all children and parents. However, because of the need, we are limited.
We’ve been In this building since November and have been able to build positive relationships with many families in our area, however, we seek to be a licensed center and without proper approval from the local fire marshal, that cannot happen.
We are a non profit Christian based childcare center with a focus on children and families who need us. With that being said, many families in Cumberland County who need childcare and have toured our facility are unable to enroll because we aren’t yet licensed and they cannot afford private pay- even with discounts applied.
It is our hope to be licensed before January 1, 2020 so that we are able to move closer to accepting those families who need quality childcare with a focus on reuniting learning with play.
Here’s the deal: In order to move forward, I must have a (Pull Station Fire Alarm System) installed to be up to code. That’s been done already; however, I just recently had to have another inspection and replacement communication box installed with it. That was an additional and unexpected $500. Unfortunately, I am not financially able to make the payment so that we can have the proper paperwork issued for the Fire Marshal to sign off on his inspection.
I am asking for your support in helping me reach my goal by December 31st allowing so that Genesis Learning Academy can to continue serving the community and aide those families who need the financial assistance our county offers.
Upon reaching our goal, we will have an open house, and community bock party to celebrate! We will also offer FREE REGISTRATION to the first 25 families who seek to enroll!
Our current families know how much we love the children in GLA and they have already began to assist us. They know how much more we can be a blessing to those mothers and fathers who need quality child care providers they can trust. That’s us.
