Help Us Get To The Playoffs!!

The Miami Central Alumni Association is a 501c3 charitable organization, through which all donations can be written off at the allowed taxable amount. At present, we are working to assist the Miami Central Marching Band with acquiring many of the resources that are required for such a program, such as instruments, uniforms and transportation, among other things.
The Miami Central Marching Rockets are a group of dedicated students who practice daily to present a "First Class" experience, through dynamic field shows and impeccable music quality to the community in which Miami Central Senior High School exists.
On on a weekly basis, the band's primary goal is to keep our football team, which we affectionately refer to as "The Roc Boys," motivated to win every game! We are so happy that they have been successful in their efforts, as The Roc Boys have made it to the playoffs to compete for another State Championship!
However, we are devastated at the prospect that the band may not be able to join them. We have just learned that our school cannot afford to transport the band to and from our games; the first one being this Friday, November 10th against Heritage High in Palm Bay, Florida.
Throughout the the current football season, our kids have learned many lessons; namely losing a Band Director while learning to trust a new one and how to push towards excellence when nearly everyone had written them off as members of a failing band program. The band staff is hoping to avoid having to teach them a lesson in disappointment. They have worked so hard to make it thus far and deserve to be able to cheer their team on in the playoffs.
