In Loving Memory of Joshy! Lets fix his Car!

January 2nd 2020, the heartbreaking day our lovable, fast paced, go hard or go home larrikin Joshy, decided to change address to Heaven.

Anyone who knew Josh knows, that he would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He was always there for his mates. Whether it was an ear to listen or a helping hand with anything mechanical or otherwise. He even put a homeless man up in a hotel for a night on an apprentice wage after finding him sitting outside a night club he was about to go into. He was just a kid with a massive heart. As it often goes, those that are there for everyone, seldom reach out for help themselves. Sadly I hate to admit, he probably learnt a lot of that from me.  

Joshs life was cars. He was born with a gift one would say. He literally spent every single waking moment learning, exploring, driving and living cars. Never was he happier than when he was in his Car - His Workmate! (hmmmm, ok, maybe when he was sneaking AMG's out of the workshop for a drive).
Seems like a strange car of choice for such a rev head, but he bought his car with the vision of being able to drive around with all his brothers, and of course his beloved YZ125. 

As many of you would know, some of Joshy's decisions led him to losing his license and in turn, his job.  And so began the downward spiral.  Christmas eve saw him smash his car (again) but this time it wasnt insured. 8 days later, our Joshy was gone. He changed address to Heaven. 

It is my mission to get his car restored to its former glory so that his brothers and I can keep a part of him alive. His car was his everything. 
So, Im reaching out for help to make his dream come true.  In honour of Joshy , and for his 3 Brothers and I, any donations would be so greatly appreciated and will go directly to getting his car repaired and back on the road. 
We have chosen the amazing people at Trevs Auto Body repairers in Hallam to undertake this project. Our fundraising goal includes all repair works to get Joshy's car back on the road. If by some crazy chance we go over our total, all extra funds will be donated to HeadSpace.
Mental Health is at an all time level with the Corona virus and lock down measures that are placing such an untold burden particularly on our youth.  If you are struggling, please reach out! I do know how it feels to feel like there is no other way out, but please know, the Sun does come up again, please dont fix a temporary problem with a permanent decision. xox
