Sitting in Silence tells the story of lifelong best friends Emmy and Claire. When Emmy goes through a traumatic experience, Claire brings her out to a secret spot overlooking the San Fernando Valley to let go of the pain and start to heal. This is a film about the power of sisterhood, reclaiming our power, and healing from trauma.

We shot this film on location in LA on a shoestring budget with the help of many friends and fellow creatives who donated their time, talent, and equipment, led by an all female creative team: director Steph Martinez, writer Gemma Ryan, producer Amy Cosby, director of photography Allysa Lisbon, and assistant director Ella Bourne. Thanks to your help, we finished our film! But we can still use your help paying off ongoing festival entry fees.
