Hi, my name is Jules Hogan-Allen I am the founder of Sustainable Lifestyle Gardens-

Our Mission at SLG is to provide every commercial business and residential family with healthier, eco-friendly lifestyle alternatives through techniques such as gardening, composting, water retention and education about our environment; reducing our carbon footprint to sustain the Earth for generations to come.

This is important to me because I think every human being should have access to locally grown foods and have a chance to learn how to self-sustain themselves and their family.

Just over a year ago, we acquired a 2-acre plot of land in the City of Atlanta that is now SLG's home base. 'This is our micro-farm. Currently, on the farm, we have (6) 4x24ft raised beds. An old chicken coop and a lot of undeveloped space. we do not have running water on the farm which has been a major issue.

What we are trying to achieve is a fully functioning micro-farm with increased egg and vegetable production. To make this happen we need to first have a multitude of trees cut that are blocking a lot of sunlight to our garden beds. After trees are cut we would like to build a minimum of 10 more raised beds. We need functioning water irrigation systems. we would also like to build a new chicken coop enclosed with a fence that prevents any predators like foxes, raccoons, eagles and hawks from killing our chickens. We also need to build a greenhouse that will give us the ability to germinate and propagate our seedlings to keep optimal production throughout the growing season.

Some tools we need during and throughout the growing season will be wheel barrels, shovels, garden racks, and garden hand tools. We also need a Greens harvesting machine, garden sprayers and a BCS garden tractor which will help with hauling and mulching around the farm. Funds will be used for personal costs as well.

Once harvest season starts we will need a farm shed with a wash station and cold food storage. also need tables, tents, banners and bags to take produce to local markets and the customers.
