Help Diyan in the fight with Cancer!
Diyan is 56 years old carving artist. He has a wonderful family. They live in Bulgaria.
Unfortunately on 03/28/2016, he got diagnosed with Small-cell carcinoma.
A fast-growing type of lung cancer, very aggressive form. It usually starts in the breathing tubes (bronchi) and grows very quickly, creating large tumors and spreading (metastasizing) throughout the body.
For a few years, he had been treated with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, etc.
While he was in remission unluckily they found 46 metastasis in his head. The doctors are treating him with Keytruda - an immunotherapy which works with your immune system to help fight cancer.
From now on he has to do that every 2-3 months. Unfortunately in Bulgaria that treatment is very expensive - one visit to the hospital costs about 13000 leva. (8070$), which there is a whole fortune. His family can not afford that amount every 2 months. There is no help from the government and the only chance for him to keep doing his treatment is by help from other people.
