Help us bring Salvatore Home

Hi, we are Rosanna and Felicia we are raising money for our 62 year old father Salvatore to return back to his home town in Sicily. In August 2022 after a family vacation in Italy our fathers health declined drastically, After many medical visits our father was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic Head and Neck Cancer. His medical team started combined treatment of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiation, in December 2022 our father underwent emergency Tracheostomy and feeding tube operation , he was no longer able to eat or breathe on his own due to complications. He slowly started regaining his energy back and continued his treatment, unfortunately in August 2023 the cancer has continued to spread and the treatment is too aggressive on his body, Our Father and his medical team have decided to stop treatment and will continue with palliative care . Our father would like to return to Sicily where my mother will continue to give him 24 hour care and spend the rest of his time in his home town Trappeto, Due to economic hard ship without income and medical expenses we are asking our friends , family and community to lend a hand to help us cover expenses for travel accommodations and get our father home as comfortable as possible. We are extremely grateful for all the love and support we have received during this difficult time and appreciate any help we can get.
