My friend Tyler Williams needs your help.
Tyler was diagnosed with a Brain AVM, or Arterial Venous Malformation. This is a rare mass like formation that people are borne with. Tyler has been experiencing symptoms dating back to 2008. He sought out various medical opinions over the years and had numerous diagnosis from carpel tunnel to brain cancer. In 2015 a scan of his brain showed a large mass which was diagnosed as an AVM. His symptoms have ranged from loss of speech, inability to use his arms and legs, and unbearable pain. He is currently doing well, but is confined to a wheel chair due to the immobility of one of his legs.
Although his Medicare has been covering most of his medial bills, he still needs help with his physical therapy and alternative treatments that help with his pain and mobility.
For those of you who don't know Ty, his list of skiing success is long and deep. 7 times X Games skier cross participant, 6 times participant of the 24 hours of Aspen World Endurance Ski Championships with two wins, participant in the world pro big mountain tour for 10 years. He qualified for the World University Games while he was at Western State Collage. Prior to losing the use of his leg, he was coaching at the Aspen Valley Ski Club. He has been giving back to the communities youth through his work with AVSC for a number of years.
Tyler's passion for skiing in second to none and I hope you can help him get back on his feet so he can ski, and work with kids, again.
