Help Tyler fight cancer stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Tyler Lincoln’s story… My son Tyler age 18 was diagnosed on Aug.17 2022. And started chemotherapy on sept.2, 2022.

On July 27, 2022 we went to the emergency room because he had a huge lump in his throat. After arriving and seeing the Dr he was sent for what we thought to be routine tests. It was quickly determined that it was far more serious than we thought . Tyler had no symptoms at all. And he didn’t even notice the lump himself . After 3 days of tests he was rushed to a larger Childrens hospital in the neighbouring city .(Hamilton McMaster childrens hospital)

When we arrived they did a ton of testing again in the hospital , and had a biopsy done in his throat. Over the following weeks it was determined that the real cause of all Tylers issues was actually cancer and he was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

He has since started treatment which consists of chemotherapy that is given in the neighbouring city and will continue for a minimum of several months to start. Dad and mom being by his side for support will be critical in his recovery as he has anxiety, an intellectual learning disability and an auditory processing disorder. Todd is really more than just Tylers dad they’re best friends and inseparable. This fund will help pay for transportation back and forth to Hamilton from guelph . Medical expenses and parking, and groceries as he is constantly eating because of his meds, plus whatever he needs in his treatment and recovery.
