Help us keep Tulasi warm over the winter

Haribol dear devotees and everyone,

I'm speaking on behalf of our group, we're all devotees following the instructions of our spiritual master, as well as the instructions of Srila Prabhupada, which is to establish the Varna-Asrama society.

We have just bought a 5 hectare land in Spain, close to Barcelona. The idea is to develop this land so we can receive people for retreats, classes, Prasadam etc, and at some point become self sufficent. So far, we have been investing a lot of money to make the place liveable and to develop the agriculture sector. We're still working on building more accommodations so we can welcome more people, and we're expanding the garden.

But one of our most precious projects is about Tulasi Devi. We've planted her this summer. We had many seeds that were 3-4 years old, and we planted them all hoping that at least a few would sprout. But actually, almost all of them sprouted, which means that now we have about 100+ Tulasi plants growing in pots. We're very happy about that and we've already given many to friends and family. We hope they can survive the winter, and a good solution is to have a gas-heated glass greenhouse to spend their cold nights and rainy days during winter.

Here is a photo of the spot we're planning to use for the greenhouse. Ok, this one is orange but you see what I mean :) It is situated northeast, which according to Vastu Sastra (Vedic architecture) is the most auspicious spot to have Tulasi growing. It makes sense also because it's the sunniest area.

Next to that spot we have our hardworking bees.

We're asking for your help to buy this greenhouse and the heater that goes with it. It is not a very big investment, but as we have already invested a good chunk of money and still need to invest more to develop our project, any donation would be beneficial.
