Help Sam & Kennedy With Laying Trina To Rest

Dear family and friends,

The time has come to ask for financial help. This will be our first fundraiser and was hoping it wouldn’t come to this. It’s difficult asking for financial assistance and something we avoided as long as we could. Trina is a loving wife, mother of a daughter and a great friend to many. Karmanos has been treating Trina for 6 years after she was first diagnosed with metastasic breast cancer months after our honeymoon. Unfortunately, she has exhausted all of the currently available treatments and is holding on for a clinical trial. Trina is currently on disability from her job due to her current health condition. This is Trina’s second time going on disability. The first time was when she was first diagnosed and started treatment. Trina has had a rough go over the past several months. December 2021 a chemotherapy. treatment caused a very rare condition, her ability to use her fingers due to lack of oxygen to her fingertips. This resulted in tissue damage and extreme pain lasting for several months and she is currently still having side effects. Trina has lost 30 pounds over the past few months due to the inability to hold down food. Once a week she has an average of 4 pounds of fluid drained from her abdomen, due to the cancer in her liver. At home Trina is on oxygen 24/7 and needs a walker to get around. Recently Trina has slowly been able to keep down some solid food. The medical bills and deductibles are skyrocketing and we could really use your financial help. Trina is starting to see a holistic doctor; unfortunately health insurance will not cover these visits and treatments. We are hoping with your help we can get Trina healthy and back on her feet.
