My little brother, Louie Paulo Quiros, was diagnosed with Cerebral Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) w/ Acute Hemorrhage and is currently admitted in UC Medical Center (Cebu, PH). I am raising a fund to cover the medical expenses as well as travel expenses as we have to fly him to Cardinal Santos Medical Center (Manila, PH). AVM is a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain. The arteries are responsible for taking oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the brain. Veins carry the oxygen-depleted blood back to the lungs and heart. A brain AVM disrupts this vital process.
