Help Toby Defeat Cancer

Dear friends of Toby Rotella.  In August Toby was hit with some medical ailments that were troubling to his doctors.  Following several rounds of testing, he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.  He's doing OK, but the cancer has caused significant anemia and he gets extremely fatigued after very little effort.  As a result, he's had to significantly cut back on his usual activities.

Toby has consulted with expert oncologists and has been advised to follow a course of treatment involving chemotherapy and immunotherapy over a period of the next six months.  Even with insurance, the costs associated with this treatment will be considerable.  He will also have to undergo further testing throughout the treatment and of course, those costs will quickly add up.  He expects that the treatment will continue to keep him fatigued into the summer of 2021.  

Toby has always been there for our community.  He founded the Imperial Garage on Third Street in Niagara Falls in the 1980s and has been a strong supporter of the blues ever since.  He held the first blues festival in 1984 and has continued to bring free live music to Western New York nearly every year since that event.  Those festivals grew from one afternoon in June to three days of live music, food, and entertainment which is the Niagara Falls Blues Festival.  

Toby's love for the Niagara Falls area and the blues have defined who he is.  He will not let cancer change that.  With your financial help, prayers, and well wishes he hopes to successfully move through this illness with grace and courage.  Anything you can do to assist him in this time of need would be incredibly appreciated.  Thank you so very much.
