Farhan Bin Liaquat, at the age of 29, stands as a beacon of hope and potential in the developing nation of Bangladesh. Graduating from the esteemed Bangladesh University of Professionals, he has been a source of inspiration for many, with a promising career at Augmedix, a medical assistance company.

However, on January 15, 2024, Farhan's world crumbled beneath him as he received the devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Stomach Cancer (Adenocarcinoma).

The financial burden of Farhan's treatment is staggering, looming over his family like a dark cloud. Despite their best efforts, they find themselves drowning in a sea of medical bills, struggling to keep afloat amidst the merciless tide of expenses. He is the main earning member of the family, and his parents have already retired from their respective jobs.

What's more, Farhan only recently embarked on the journey of marriage on July 22, 2023, promising a future filled with love and dreams. They couldn’t even celebrate their first marriage anniversary. Now, his newlywed wife stands by his side, a pillar of strength in the face of adversity, who is just a university-going student. They cannot weather this storm alone.

Farhan is not just a patient battling a disease; he is a young man brimming with potential, a shining star in our community. His brilliance shines through his achievements in national and international debate tournaments, earning him admiration and respect from all who know him.

We cannot let this light be extinguished.

Currently admitted to Chennai Apollo Hospital, Farhan is fighting his battle in a foreign land, far from the comforting embrace of his parents. Bangladesh lacks the logistical capacity to treat his condition, leaving him with no choice but to seek treatment abroad.
