The COLLEGE MIXTE EUDEC

was founded on October 1, 1987 by Mr. Jean René Duverne Director-Founder And with the support of certain local notables, with the aim of helping destitute children by receiving from them a reasonable sum by offering them A worthy education. The school opens, recognized and licensed the same year; thus the Collège Mixte Eudec is recognized as being of public utility. The school is located in Lafleur du chêne #47 HAITI.

We welcome girls and boys From 3 years old to 5 years old Kindergarten From 6 years old to 13 years old elementary From 14 years old to x secondary From 15 years old to x professional. The aim of the school since then has been to train people. Intellectually, civically, morally and religiously. Form honest citizens for the homeland and humanity.

The school has 9 teachers for kindergarten and fundamental, 35 teachers for secondary and 15 teachers for professional. Since 1987 until 2010 before the earthquake, the enrollment of the school is always or around 600 to 650 high. But after the earthquake it varies between 400 to 450 high, since our local was destroyed we do not have the means to rebuild the same amount of room that we had before after the earthquake of January 12, 2010 and with the political problems that the country is experiencing the parents cannot pay the school fees, the children hardly go to school, for this we are forced to change the status of the school, and we have been forced to besse Scholarship costs and even giving scholarships and half-scholarships to the most needy children in summary I can confess that 50% of our students are scholarship holders and half-scholarship holders.

After the death of my father, Mr. Jean René Duverne, director and founder of this establishment, me his oldest daughter, I feel unable to perpetuate and continue the magnificent work that my father began 35 years ago, although I wholeheartedly wish to continue his work in his memory. because he has always done it with passion and a lot of love. It is for this reason that I have decided to ask for help and turn to You, people like Him, believe in education and with a good heart, who can listen to my voice in order to renovate the classrooms of our school, who are in very poor condition after the earthquakes of January 12, 2010. Also those of those children who really need help to continue to have an appropriate and dignified education.

The objective and the vision of this new committee are very great, for example:

1) Properly repair the school establishment which is in a very degrading state.

2) Rebuild the refectory to give a hot meal to the students.

3) Have the necessary equipment to continue working properly.

4) Have school tools for the poorest children.

5) Have a computer lab that was completely destroyed by the earthquake of January 12, 2010. Nevertheless, the management is doing despite wind and tide, making contacts to be able to realize the little of its dream because "Education" is lighterof a fire for better prospects and tomorrows...
