Help to raise £1000 for our coach and friend

Hi All, As most are aware now, unfortunately Mark (Issac’s dad) is going through tough treatment at the moment for a cruel disease that has touched us all in some way. Mark has been diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. It is not curable. He was diagnosed in September after visiting A&E because he was feeling unwell. He is having immunotherapy treatment at Christies to contain and hopefully shrink the cancer. Treatment is given every 3 weeks via a drip. The treatment is particularly gruelling and has really knocked him off his feet. To support their coach and his family, Rangers Rugby and Uppermill FC Under 7s are about to embark on a very special challenge but they need your help!! On Saturday 26th November they will complete a sponsored “Mile for Mark” at Rangers Rugby Club… the boys will attempt to run 4.5 laps around the rugby pitch. Sounds simple but will be quite a challenge for their age! If you would like to join us in this challenge to support Mark and his family please donate to this page. The run is open to all Under 7s - we want to see as many of our teams members as possible and in either football or rugby kits!! This is going to be a tough challenge for them but there will be plenty of support and encouragement throughout! And please be sure to stay at the club after the event for a drink, pizza and much more.. all proceeds will be going directly to Mark and his family. The event starts at 4.30pm on Saturday 26th November with the boys starting their “Mile for Mark” at 5.30pm. 100% of this money raised is going directly to the family.
