Help to pay for radiation therapy

Hello Everyone,
        I just found out that my neighbor Freddy Reyes an excellent human being and a retired peace officer ‍♀️ of twenty years is going through difficult times. He is battling  throat cancer for a second time. As we all know these are difficult times for anyone, but it is particularly difficult and financially straining when battling such a terrible illness.  Many of the foundations that help out when people struggle financially with severe health problems  are currently halted due to lack of funds. Since COVID-19 funds are scarce, and resources are very limited in our current economy.I am sure we are all aware of how difficult  things are right now. Knowing the  difficulty of our current situation and the unfortunate diagnosis Mr. Reyes is facing. I ask that if you have the possibility to lend a helping hand with any kind of donation please do not hesitate. Although Mr. Reyes has been an excellent neighbor for more than 30 years we are not necessarily best friends. However my family and I know he is a caring and kind hearted man that has always looked  out for us and the entire neighborhood. He is responsible for keeping my neighborhood safe.
A person with the the utmost integrity that has helped a lot of us in the community. He has always cared about his fellow man, as well as his community. He valiantly served for 20 years (1978-1998) in our great city El paso Tx. He is very respected, yet easygoing and approachable. In my opinion he is everything a great police officer should be. I know that with your help Mr. Reyes will keep serving and protecting our community and the city he loves for many years to come. I am convinced that just like I felt the need to help an outstanding and exemplary human being, you will to. Please  help him lift the financial burden that comes with these terrible illnesses. I have never done anything like this before, but I really have high hopes  enough money will be raised to make a favorable impact in his soon to come recovery.
