My good friends Jen and Jon had another traumatic event in the early hours of this morning. When a drunk driver crashed into their garden wall. Completely destroying their garden and causing damage to their house whilst they slept at 1am.
Whilst the damage will be covered by insurance, the trauma that this family have experienced cannot be fixed and the long term effects to them emotionally and financially will impact on their lives in a way that they do not deserve
This is the second time such an awful event has happened to them. Back in 2017 just a week before Christmas (their first Christmas in their new home) a drunk driver ploughed into another part of their garden crashing into the house. Causing thousands of pounds worth of damage meaning they had to move out for 6 months whilst repairs where carried out.
Jen has worked so hard to feel safe and secure her entire life and now that her and Jon have found each other and what they thought was their perfect home. I personally watched them work really hard to save to achieve their dream home, and now twice they've had this traumatic experience.
With their future in this home now uncertain, due to the trauma that these events have caused, and the impact this will have on and future sale of the house. I feel I want to do something to help them in this awful situation as they need all the support they can to help them after all the bad luck they've had.
Hopefully with a little bit of generosity from friends and family we can make them feel a little better about things. Thank you xxx
