Help Tito Vintimilla finish his career!

Donation protected
Tito Vintimilla is a  final year student of Geology at the University of Liverpool, he is one of the top students of his class having achieved a First class throughout his whole studies. He came to the UK as his country could not provide him with proper education or career opportunities in his desired field of study.

Tito has worked really hard to maintain a £1000 scholarship granted to him during his foundation year for academic achievement. In addition, he has recently been elected to the committee of his school's society as the role of secretary and has worked hard with his team to organize the different events for this new academic year. He has been working as a student ambassador with the University since 2018, helping to answer queries through telephone or email and helping other international students come to Liverpool. He has also taken part on different summer internships, one on the 2019 summer vacation with a consultancy, and one during the 2020 summer vacation with the university which he has finished recently, where he developed an online module for all students. He has done this with the sole purpose of gaining work and field experience so he can secure a job after graduating.

The reason why we are raising £8000 on his behalf is that the university requires 60% of the tuition fees at the end of September and the other 40% on February, he already has £3800 but needs the rest of the money to start this first semester. Unfortunately, the university has been contacted to provide him with an alternative payment plan and they refused to help, as they have to all international students regardless of personal circumstances. If he is unable to come up with the funds he would need to suspend his studies, his visa would get cancelled and he would have to go back home to Ecuador, delaying the completion of his studies for at least a year. His family have tried countless things that include taking loans, credit cards, or selling some of their assets, but because of the financial situation of his home country, this has not been possible. In addition, his dad is a pilot and only recently has his company started paying him half of his wages, if he can start this first semester his family will have time to financially recover and support him with the final 40% of the tuitions that need to be paid on February.

The reason this can be detrimental for his career is that not only are visa fees very high but also as part of his course he needs to complete a field dissertation for 35 days. Spending a year without access or practice to the material and techniques required to complete this project can make that job extremely difficult and hinder his final mark.

If you are able to help please donate, every pound counts towards our goal. If you cannot, please share this with others who might be able to donate. The money raised here will go only towards his tuition fees for the first semester.

Here are his transcripts of the first 2 years of studies as proof of his academic achievements:
