Help Time Warp Comics recover from burglary

Hello my name is Rita Rollman and together with Joe Rollman, Teague Bohlen & Holly Berry we are starting a Go Fund Me for our good friend Wayne Winsett, owner of Time Warp Comics in Boulder, Colorado. Wayne has been the owner of Time Warp for 39 years and has helped so many of us develop a passion for reading and storytelling. He's an amazing human and is always kind to everyone. Comic book stores are not something you run for profit - because they make very very little if any at all. They are a place you create as an homage to something you love and help others find their love for it as well. That is Time Warp Comics in a nutshell. About 2 weeks ago, a person decided it was a great place to burglarize, smashed the store's door in, and took a bunch of books worth more than $17,000. They also took money from the register, and the worst part is, they broke Wayne's heart. The good news is they caught the person responsible and even managed to recover some of the books! The bad news is that this store is already struggling and having to cover the damage is expensive. And not all of the books have been found, so the loss is still exceptional. Thus we have decided to start this Go Fund Me to help Wayne pay for some of the loss, to buy him a nice fireproof safe to save the rest of his inventory from future bad guys, upgrade his security system (which is from the late Jurassic Era apparently) and to get him some type of upgrade for his door to avoid another Hulk-Smash situation. Wayne is not a person that will accept donations, so we are going to do it for him! Help us win one for the good guy for a change, by giving us some of yours!
