Help Tiaye Study in Italy!

Hello, my name is Tiaye, and I am planning to study abroad in Sorrento, Italy this summer.  I was chosen to participate in a five-week Italian language study program at the Sant'Anna Institute in Sorrento, where I will be collaborating with students around the world to develop proficiency in Italian. Through this program, I will gain a more intimate experience with the language, as I will be fully immersed into the culture. The program includes a home-stay, excursions, in addition to a humanities course, which will introduce me to Italian art, history, and politics. By embarking on this study abroad experience, I plan to grow academically, professionally, and personally. This will be my first experience abroad, and I am looking forward to seeing how it changes my conception of the world. The opportunity to meet people from around the globe, venture out of my comfort zone, and witness new surroundings will make this study abroad trip a life-changing experience. I am passionate about learning, and by participating in this program I will gain a wealth of knowledge both in and out of the classroom. The total cost of the program is $9,000, which includes tuition, housing, excursions, meals, and airfare.
