This week is Trans Awareness Week, which includes TDOR ( Trans Day of Remembrance or Trans Day of Resilience). Tiara is a resilient 18 year old who has been through so much but has created, built, and sustained so much more. She is an No Justice, No Pride activist, dancer, mentor, public speaker and so much more.
Tiara recently started school and is studying psychology. She also just moved into a new apartment and is working on finding a job to sustain herself and support her studies and organizing work.
This is where you come in.
Tiara needs help getting necessities, furniture, toiletries, house hold items, and food for her apartment. She also needs support with transportation going to and from her new school and school books and supplies. Tiara is committed to using art, dance, and therapy to holistically disrupt the trauma Black folks, particularly Black trans folks experience.
