Help Thunder Recover at Home

This summer ,Thunder Aung embarked on a trip to go to Thailand to take on a job in education and curriculum building in south east Asia .
On the morning of July 28th, 2017, in the middle of the ocean in Southern Thailand, our speedboat became caught in choppy waters . A series of violent and strong waves continuously hit our boat. After being jostled around by the waves , the impact of a particularly large wave left Thunder on the floor of the boat unable to move . After an emergency detour to the hospital on Phi Phi island , x-rays confirmed that the incident left Thunder with a spinal compression fracture . Doctors have given her a back brace to wear for the long recovery ahead and after days of slowly recovering , she has been cleared to fly. However, she is only allowed to be upright for take off and landing and must spend the entirety of the flight lying down. After researching many options , the doctor has agreed to let her fly home on a buisiness class seat where she can be fully horizontal.
She has no family or friends that will be able to stay behind to aid in her recovery . Her best chance at recovery will be at home , where she can be reevaluated by doctors and supported by family . We are asking for your help to bring Thunder home.
The amount requested will cover her flight to Bangkok and to the US with medical assistance along the way.
Thank you for your support!
