Help for my sister, flooded by the hurricanes
Donation protected
Climate change has resulted in longer and more intense hurricane seasons. This year, the rivers in my home state of Tabasco have crested and overflowed due to the relentless rains that have been dumped by the storm systems. My sister and her children have been flooded out of their home. As a doctor, she has spent this year on the frontlines, fighting COVID-19 in her community. As a single mother, she works hard day in and day out to provide for her children, even taking on side jobs to help her make ends meet. But now she needs help. She and her three children (one of whom is severely disabled) have had to evacuate their home by boat and have lost all of their belongings. It's been a tough year, but if you can, please help her get back on her feet. Hoy por mi, mañana por ti.
