HELP THOSE AFFECTED BY FLOODS IN NEPAL

Urgent help is needed for the communities devastated by the recent floods in the Sindhupalchowk region of Nepal. This disaster is yet another layer of tragedy impacting the lives of the Nepali people. Social work students from a WA university visited an NGO in the region, Just Nepal Foundation (JNF), in 2018 and again in 2019. The organisation works tirelessly to support the young people of the community to be financially independent and fulfil their dreams (see more at https://justnepal.org/). The region has survived civil war, the 2015 earthquake and now face the global pandemic along with devastating floods.

We desperately need to raise $10,000 to supply masks, water purifying tablets, tents and other urgent supplies. As the situation changes, there is also the need to evacuate those of the region.
