Help Thor Beat Cancer
Donation protected
This is Thor - he is a 4 and half year old Old English Bull Dogge. Thor is amazing. From day one, he has stolen the hearts of his mom McKaela and his dad Tyler. He is a patient big brother to Loki and Scarlett. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him - just look at that face and those eyebrows. How could you resist.
A week ago, Thor stopped eating, drinking and generally wasn't himself. After several tests at the vet, the worst was confirmed - cancer in the form of multicentric lymphoma. Without treatment, he has been given 6 weeks to live - with treatment, a year or maybe even more (fingers crossed). His parents are going to proceed with the treatment but it will be a huge financial hit to this young family, who already had to pay for emergency surgery for Loki, their other pup, this past spring, when he had a bowel obstruction.. However, they simply can't imagine not fighting for Thor.
Treatment has already started and Thor has responded well - in the next week they hope to start Chemo. Any funds raised will be used to cover the costs of treatment - estimated to be between $4000 to $5000. Any funds leftover will be donated to Paws It Forward Dog Rescue in Kelowna.
Any help offered is very appreciated and will make a huge difference for this family. Thank you.
