#FightingForThem! Kids in Danger, Help Mother NOW

This is a fundraiser for my friend Hope (not her real name), she is a mom and she is fighting for her children's lives.
The funds will be used to pay legal fees, as well as the costs of treating PTSD for the kids, and the expenses associated with keeping her children safe from their abuser. I can't use her real name here because I want to protect her and her children, so I'll call her Hope. She's a good friend, a talented teacher and a beautiful mother to two school-aged children, her daughter and son.
Your support means helping her keep her kids safe from their abuser, so these two beautiful children can heal and grow into functional, healthy adults.
Here are some of her words shared with me when I reached out to her:
My children have suffered too much. They both now have PTSD from visitations with their father. My daughter deals with all of this grooming behavior from her father and was physically harmed by him last year. The emotional abuse. And so much more. Their dad has a wealthy enabler that bankrolls everything he's trying to do to destroy our lives, to upend these children, through the court. WE ARE DESPERATE FOR HELP. Children deserve to have peace. To be safe. To be protected. They asked me to help them, and that's what I'm trying to do...I just can't do it alone. Lawyers are expensive, and we desperately need one. There's a hearing in just 2 weeks on October 15th. Then there'll be a trial. There's even a court official that's exhibited egregious bias and has endangered the children...We NEED help. I'm scared for them. I need help from anyone willing to help us fight for their lives. I can't bear to watch the light go out of their eyes, to know they are being harmed and do nothing."
I've started this GoFundMe to help her protect her children, by raising money to pay her legal fees. There have been some issues with keeping the GoFundMe going that she had started in the past, and the children's abusive father has come after it in various ways. But we are here for her and the children. We will not let an abuser's efforts cut her off or slow her down from getting help. WE'LL get her the financial help she needs. We're here to help, so we're doing this FOR her and those children. Please donate, every little bit helps!
