Help this important man in our life

Most of you probably already know the amazing man we're trying to raise money for,  Ken Ehlers.  He's been a prominent member of the Ashland community for the last 30 years!  He's been a member of Ashland Rotary and the Ashland Elks Club, on the State Board of Optometry, and served as president for a time, and a member of the Ashland Chamber of Commerce.  He owned Ashland's Optical Expressions downtown on the plaza in Ashland for the last 28 years.  His plan was to sell the business and be able to retire from the money he made from the earnings, unfortunately that's not how things worked out.  Instead, due to illness he lost his practice.  He had prostate cancer that metastasized to his lungs and now more recently has discovered he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to his liver.  He has had no energy and been very sick for quite some time now, and just couldn't own the business any longer, so we had to give it up. Our hope in raising this money is to help him to stay at home and be as comfortable as possible for whatever time he has left.  He's worked very hard his whole life and really deserves to at least not worry about finances for his final days.  Thank you to all of you who are willing to help in whatever way you can, even if it's sending love and prayers our way, it's all very much appreciated!
