Help this battered woman & children
One of the members of PeloUnderground (a Peloton-based community) has a loved one who is in dire trouble!
Her fiance has beaten her (as you can see), and she's fled him. Unfortunately, they are staying in a truck on the side of the road. A plane ticket has already been purchased for her to get to a safe place with her children. Unfortunately, the flight is not until June 5th.
A truck is not only an unsafe place. But this truck is not in her name. It is in the abuser's name. He has "said" he will not report it missing. But that could change at any time.
She and her kids need a place to stay urgently. We are raising money for them to get a hotel / motel room to be safe.
They are currently eating at charity kitchens (seen below)
We'd really like to raise enough for them to have a place to stay, good meals to eat, and provide for incidentals.
If even a fraction of the community donates a small portion to this cause, it could really help her, and her childrens' lives immensely.
She's done the hardest part: escaped from the bad situation. Let's help her take the final step to safety!!!
