During these times of uncertainty, I wanted to do my part in the fight against the Covid-19. Join me to show respect and gratitude to the people who work tirelessly to protect us all. The entire world is now fighting against a concealed and deadly enemy and even if our life is confined in our homes, we’re more connected than ever to one another, we’re ALL FOR ONE. Therefore I felt the urge to write a charity song to support not only the country where I live but as many countries, regions and ethnic groups as I can.
The threat of this disease grows and puts further strain on the entire world, but we can help make a difference by coming together with a small act for a great cause.
I’m raising money in aid of NHS, MSF and “Vulnerable Families in Morocco”. All donations will be divided equally among each of them.
-1/3 is going to the NHS Together Charities. The medical professionals are working bravely, putting their lives at risk for the country. The number of people affected and dying from Covid-19 in the UK is tragic and heartbreaking, and it is increasing day by day. The least we can do is to ensure that the NHS staff has the resources they need to continue doing the vital work that is helping millions.
-1/3 goes to MSF (Doctors Without Borders). Their emergency medical teams are working beyond their limits, providing urgently needed medical care and support in more than 70 countries. They are also preparing to intervene in areas and regions in which the epidemic is just starting, where prevention measures can have a big impact. Shortages of medical supplies and travel restrictions are going to drastically impact their work, our support is as crucial as ever.
-1/3 goes to “Vulnerable Families in Morocco”, one of the most welcoming tourist destinations in the world. At the beginning of the Covid-19 spread, many tourists were stuck in Morocco due to the closure of the borders and Moroccan families hosted and even shared with them their humble food. Millions of workers have lost their jobs, this leaves lots of families in a vulnerable state, as such many can not afford to buy basic food and necessities. Let's give back to the country that always welcomes people from all around the world with warm and open arms.
We have all the power to make a real difference in a crisis like this where needs are overwhelming. I think that donating is an efficient and empowering way to go towards a better and safer future for all of us.
