Help The Watsons

On Friday, September 28th, with camping gear in tow, James hit the road with a vision to write about the great American road trip and visit extended family.  On his second day, in eastern Oregon on an empty stretch of highway, a sleeping bag dislodged and locked his motorcycles’ rear wheel instantaneously, resulting in a crash that broke his hip into 4 pieces.  Due to the remoteness of the crash, a helicopter was required to transport James to St Charles Hospital in Bend where, on Sunday he underwent reparative surgery.  

Though the Watsons do have insurance, the impact of the helicopter trip, surgery, and lost work opportunity for James will have a significant financial toll.  

Those that know James and Meg, know that they generously give of their time and resources and would never ask for anything from anyone.  However, as those close to them, we now have an opportunity to ask for your help on their behalf.  In addition to prayers for recovery and healing, please consider contributing financially to their need.
