Help "The Vif" Recover from serious bike accident

Marcel Vifian was in a horrible bike accident on Monday, March 8th. He sustained traumatic injuries that include: a concussion, fractured vertebrae, shattered collarbone, punctured lung, broken ribs and shoulder.
He is scheduled for surgery today (Thursday, March 9th) and considering his age and otherwise exceptional health, we expect a full and complete recovery, but only after an extended and expensive rehabilitation program.
From what we know at this time, his injuries were caused by a pick-up truck crossing the road into oncoming traffic about 20-miles outside of Park City, Utah where he resides (more details to come).
His recovery will be long in duration and expensive. His health insurance should cover most of his hospital and surgical procedures, but will fall woefully short of meeting the long recovery ahead of him.
Gotta keep this short -- but many of those reading this, KNOW the legend that is 'The Vif' -- his kindness, generosity and 'would do anything for any of us at ANY time' is quite literal.
