Hello, my name is Karrie and I am raising money for my deaf sister's family. They were in a terrible car crash on their way from NY to Florida to visit me. Their only reliable vehicle now appears to be totaled after someone crashed into them and drove them into another vehicle. It was very scary compounded by the fact that the emergency responders and tow truck driver not knowing sign language to tell them what was going on. Thankfully it was just my sister, her husband and their middle child Derrick in the car at the time because I had their other kids at my house and they are all relatively uninjured aside from aggravating my brother-in-law's ongoing hip and back pain. We are grateful that they okay but this is going to cause a huge hardship on them. They now will be paying off the rest of the vehicle that they will not be able to use because it is not worth the amount they owe. They also need to buy a family car. I know times are hard for everyone and we do not want to take food off your table, but if you happened to be blessed with a little extra you can share, it would be greatly appreciated in helping them get back on their feet.
