Help the Schaills displaced by fire

On Wednesday Dec. 20th, 2017, Dan, Chasity, and Seth’s house caught fire. Chasity had just arrived home from her office Christmas party and visiting with her sister and niece’s in Moyock. Opening the front door, the house was filled with black smoke and all 3 of their dogs were trapped inside. Neighbors rushed to get the dogs out, the fire department arrived quickly, all animals were rescued, fire extinguished. Now, the house that has been a home to Chasity for 34 years, her and Dan since their marriage 22 years ago and raising Seth for the past 18 years is no longer livable. They are staying at a dear friends house (Matt), two doors away. They have nothing more right now other than some clothes, the presents they could salvage and a few other items. The house will need major repairing and restoration from the fire. Not to mention replacing all of their personal belongings. Being just days before Christmas, one could only imagine the hurt and sadness they feel. Although thankful for a place to live, the house is empty and they have no material items for the house. Nothing in their house is useable, so they can’t even bring anything over. Homeowner’s will only provide so much assistance towards the actual structure of the home, not help with personal items or materials of the home at this point. This family has some of the biggest hearts of anyone you know. If you know them, then you know when we say giving, caring, helpful, is only the start of them. Therefore, we are asking for donations of any type to help them during this time. We know that no matter the help or donation received, they will forever be thankful and all is much appreciated. All thoughts and prayers are needed.
