The Canadian Friends of Parrot Rescue Lebanon (PRL) is setting up this gofundme campaign to help Parrot Rescue Lebanon, the only parrot shelter in Lebanon founded and run by Chadi Kachi.
It all started 11 years ago with one sick parrot named Kaya and things took off from there.
Over the years Parrot Rescue Lebanon has rescued, treated and rehabilitated a large number of abandoned, sick, injured and disabled parrots. The rescue also helps local wildlife whenever possible and it's the home of few senior disabled dogs.
What started as a home-based operation is now an official shelter with multiple large bird rooms and a small section that sells pet accessories to help sustain the shelter's livelihood but with Lebanon's severe economic crisis and all the chaos and unrest the country is going through, the situation is becoming extremely challenging and Parrot Rescue Lebanon needs your help today more then ever.
