Help Jon and Nerizza Publish Their First Cookbook

Mabuhay! For the past few years, many of you have witnessed Nerizza and I and our creative efforts in food— running a successful catering business, the development of recipes, food photography, and food writing. We’ve brought the unique and delectable flavors of our Philippine roots to various communities. We've served at weddings, family gatherings, community events, and even a high school prom. We even won an Adobo contest at a local festival. In any case, we have proudly exhibited a love for our mother country and the fantastic food that it offers. We've been very proud to showcase Pilipino food on several levels.
We are excited to announce our next venture, a project that we hope further displays love for our cuisine and culture. We are putting pen to paper and writing a cookbook! For the past year, we’ve been developing recipes around one of the most beloved Filipino foods, LUMPIA. We love lumpia, and we know you do too! We plan to highlight various iterations of the famous dish, offering traditional, innovative, and healthy forms. We believe that this will be unique to the Filipino cookbook space!
Recently, we sought out a publisher and presented this book concept. We’re glad to share that our concept was received very well. The development, printing, and complete distribution would be led by a professional publishing team. And we are happy to say that as the authors, we would maintain ownership of the book. But dear friends, the cost is high, so we are calling upon you all for support.
For a few years now, celebrity chefs have been saying that Filipino food is on the cusp of greatness, that it’s the next great cuisine. I think we’ve all known how great this food is, all along. It’s time to not wait for the world to embrace our food, but rather take our rightful place by showing them the beauty. Will you join us in this task?
