Help the Houghtons

As most of you know, Dawn has been diagnosed with uterine cancer. She is scheduled for surgery on October 20th. The bad news is that the tumor is larger than originally expected. The good news is that the cancer does not appear to have spread, and the doctors are hopeful that they will be able to get it all, although she will likely need radiation in addition to the surgery. Dawn's recovery will be lengthy (6-8 weeks or more). Dawn runs a daycare out of her home and because of the surgery, will not be able to work and will not have any income during that time. Dan, who is a realtor, has income that is sales based, so there is no certainty for him of what his income will be during that time. Dan and Dawn are wonderful, selfless people, who are always there to help anyone who needs it. They have unwavering faith and know that during this trial, God is in control. We are hoping that those of you who know and love them will join us in supporting them. We are raising money to help supplement Dan's wages while she is out of work, and to help with medical expenses.  Most of all, we are asking for prayers for Dawn and her family during this time.
