Help the Hills Recover Tornado Losses & Damages

As Carl, Jimele and Shae prepared for bed late  Monday evening, Jimele recalls hearing a whirring outside her window as she’d recently been made aware of a Tornado warning near by. No sooner then she was able to get her baby girl and husband rushed to the nearest bathroom does she remember hearing the Tornado touch down on one side of the house and tragically destroying their brand new home they’d worked so hard to obtain.

“I never could have imagined the movie Twister would become our life. All I can remember is me asking hubby what that sound was and him saying “baby it’s a train” and me yelling with literally minutes to spare that it wasn’t. We were able to grab our daughter and take cover in the guest bathroom while the tornado literally went from one end of our home to the other. What now seemed like it may have lasted for 30 seconds to a minute, felt like eternity in that moment. Yes our home is destroyed. The contents that we worked so hard to obtain are gone, but we still have life and that hits differently. The boys were safe with their dad, thank God. Please pray for myself and my family. Although it was a very traumatic experience it was one that left us even more grateful!”

Those that know Carl and Jimele know that they give the shirts off of their backs and shoes off of their feet to anyone in need. They give their time and money to their family, friends and church family and now it’s time for us to show our support to them. For all that can and will, please consider giving in hopes to help recover some of the losses this family has experienced. Everything won’t be replaced, but they are now starting from the ground up to rebuild what they knew to be. They will need monies for shelter as they wait on insurance claims, clothes/shoes, as well and basic need items that weren’t salvageable. Please consider donating. I pray that those inclined to give that God returns one hundred  fold.
