Christian ran out with his Rustlers team mates last week in the U13s Capras trials before coming off feeling unwell. Within 24 hours he was in Brisbane.
For the second time in his life he has been hit by Guillain Barre Syndrome. This is a very serious and rare condition in which the body’s immune system attacks the nervous system.
Currently Christian is being treated in the intensive care unit at the Lady Cilento Hospital in Brisbane where he has been placed in an induced coma in an effort to treat his condition.
Everyone is praying for a full recovery for Christian however it’s going to be a long road for him and his family. And as a family based in Central Queensland, there are many additional travel and accomodation costs.
Christian is a Rockhampton Brothers Rugby League player, a student at TCC and a little legend. Please support the family in any way you can.
