Richard Giesel Memorial Fund

Our dear friend, father and husband Rick Giesel collapsed during a Hoosier FC soccer game yesterday while the team was in Cincinnati competing in the Blue Chip Showcase.  Despite efforts to save him, Rick unfortunately passed away.  Rick's son Henry has been the team goalie for many years and it was Rick's dream to see Henry play at the college level.  Henry recently committed to play at Wabash College starting this fall.  Rick was bigger than life itself and Henry's biggest fan and agent.  The entire Giesel family have been a strong presence in the Hoosier FC organization and Rick will be missed on the sidelines.  Rick leaves behind his wife Mary, daughter Heath and son Henry.  Funds raised will be given to the family to utilize immediately for funeral and miscellaneous expenses.  Any additional funds raised will be given to the family to help with future  expenses as Rick still had many working years ahead of him.
