Help the Galliazo's

At age three and a half, Ron Galliazo was diagnosed with TB meningitis which caused him to  become deaf. Ron grew up going to many deaf and hearing schools, working hard to get an education. After taking classes at Boston University, Ron started his teaching career. Ron has taught for over 40 years now. He has taught students (both deaf and hearing), interpreters, doctors, lawyers and other important figures. He has taught ASL, deaf history and deaf studies. Ron believes that being deaf should have a positive impact on someone’s life, and he has always tried to pass on that message to his students. All of Ron’s students adore and look up to him. He has changed many people's lives in the deaf and hearing communities.  After 40 years of teaching, Ron has finally retired. Ron’s wife, who is also deaf, works many jobs trying to provide for their 5 children. Ron is still paying student loans and has found that expenses are becoming too high for him to afford. He can no longer afford medical insurance for his children. Ron has had diabetes since a very young age, and he has been struggling to afford his medical care. Ron always puts his family's needs before his own and makes them his first priority. Ron and his family need a place to live by August 1st. Please help us get Ron and his family a safe place to live.
