Help The Five Count Stay Alive!

The Five Count is a local, non-profit radio show in Mankato, Minn. It’s hosted by Dustin Wilmes and Juston "Ton" Cline. The show has been broadcast on KMSU 89.7 FM-Mankato and KMSK 91.3 FM-Austin for nearly 20 years and features numerous celebrity interviews, audience interaction and specialized programming not found anywhere else in the area.

Since the pandemic hit, they are no longer permitted to broadcast the show live from the KMSU studios. Like most people, they are trying their best to adapt to the new reality they face. The restrictions at KMSU are slowly beginning to relax, but there are still very few options to obtain studio time. Because The Five Count’s timeslot falls outside of normal business hours, it is possible they will no longer be able to broadcast live again from KMSU. This is why they need your help!

Dustin & Ton are average, working-class men with young families. They’ve have been able to piece together the bare minimum of equipment needed to record the show on a laptop and attempt to conduct interviews with high-caliber guests. Unfortunately, the quality of the equipment they were able to secure isn’t up to the normal standards the audience expects. With your help this can all change!

The Five Count is asking for some help to purchase better-quality equipment so the show can continue to grow and entertain, not only for the KMSU listening area but worldwide! The Five Count is online at www.thefivecount.com and receives web traffic from cities and countries around the world. Please consider helping The Five Count achieve their goal of producing the best quality program they can!
