Help The Fenco Family Rebuild

The epic tropical storm Ida swept across New Jersey on Wednesday, September 1st, bringing extreme weather, rainfall, and destruction in Somerset County.  As the storm surge happened, their next-door neighbor’s home on Mercer St in Somerville exploded.  The Fenco Family of five escaped through floodwaters, debris, and fire from the explosion. Unfortunately, their home was ravaged by the blast, and it is deemed unsafe and inhabitable.  All of their belongings and memories are gone. Now they need a place to live as their children prepare to go back to school, and they start to rebuild their lives and get back to some normalcy.  

Dan Fenco, his wife, and three children have lived in Somerville since 2007.  Pastor Dan, affectionately known, has served Somerville and the surrounding communities for over ten years.  Pastor Dan is the senior and lead pastor of Camino de Fe (Faith Journey), a Bilingual/Spanish-speaking church in Bernardsville and Raritan. In addition, he organizes pop-up food pantries, vaccination clinics, training workshops, and volunteers for the Somerville PTO as part of the Latino Family Advisory Board. 
Pastor Dan has worked over the years to inspire, encourage, and advocate for the people in his community by providing the tools and resources needed. He is a faithful servant of God, a family man, and an outstanding member of the community.
