Help the Claytons Rebuild After Hurricane Milton

Hello! My name is Heather Copithorne, and I am starting this go fund me to help some very good friends, who lost their house here in Barefoot Bay last night during the storm. Any funds raised will go directly to Richard and Kim Clayton, to help rebuild their home.

Many of us know and love The Claytons. Richard, Kim and Earl are like family to all of us. They are the first to jump in for a friend (or even a stranger) in need of help. And I know that probably half of Barefoot has had the pleasure of tasting Richard’s delicious jams and jellies!

This time, our friend is in need of OUR help. While many of us were worrying about floods or falling branches during Hurricane Milton, they lost their entire home in the middle of the night. Many have offered words of kindness and help during this time. The best way that we can help them right now is with monetary donations. They are currently staying with family, and already are trying to fit 2 households into one home, so unfortunately at the moment they are not able to accept items. As they go through the process of assessing what is and isn’t salvageable, let’s all band together to give them a hand with rebuilding as soon as they are ready and able!
