Help the Burke Family Rebuild

**6/11 - As part of transparency for the campaign, its funds and to all donors, after funds have been fully deposited into the organizer's (Mike Valdes) account, Gerard and I will go to the bank together and withdraw the funds to transfer them over to the Burke family and his account.

**Edit** 6/2 @ 6 pm ET - We did it. We have officially more than tripled our original goal of $5000, to raise almost $16,000 total.
Thank you all so, so much for each of your donations and for the support that is going right to the family. We will be leaving the fundraising page open for right now, temporarily, but please consider the fundraiser done.

Our dear friends the Burke family, Shana, Camryn, Riley and Gerard have experienced an unfortunate situation – on the night of May 31st and morning of June 1st a fire tore through their apartment in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.

Thankfully and most importantly everyone is okay. Some items were salvageable, but much of the apartment and its contents suffered fire and water damage and it's currently unlivable until repairs are made in the future.

We are attempting to raise $5000 for the family to help with rebuilding costs and living expenses over the next few weeks and months.

This is understandably a difficult time for many, all help is appreciated.
