Help the Bowery Ballroom and Mercury Lounge

As our industry continues to see the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mercury Lounge and Bowery Ballroom have made the hard, but necessary, decision to close our doors indefinitely. While we continue to monitor this situation, the reality is that over 100 of our hourly employees are out of work, and with an uncertain economic future.

We ask that if you are able, please consider donating to support your favorite independently-owned NYC music venues through our GoFundMe.  The first distributions of this fundraiser went directly to our hourly staff including security, bartenders, and door staff. 

Moving forward the funds donated toward our goal will go to the venue. When we reopen our venue patrons and our staff's health and safety are of the highest concern. We are looking into options to help mitigate the risks. Our goal is to provide whatever it is that we will need, which can be quite an exhaustive list. Planning and training can go a long way towards the goal to protect live events, the people that create them, and hopefully inspire fans to return.
