Jays 50KM Challenge - Twin Heart Animal Sanctuary

Hey everyone! I have decided to take on a challenge of running 50km tomorrow on November 15th. I should have made this earlier but I am a master procrastinator so here we are! 


In taking on the challenge I am hoping to also raise as much money as possible for the Twin Heart Animal Sanctuary in Tappen, BC.


Twin Heart Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit society and is run by Diane and Harry Nicholson - true heroes. As you can imagine, running an animal sanctuary is extremely tough! They have had to delay other fundraisers and cannot have visitors due to COVID - so they need all the help they can get!


Zuri was born up North on a very cold night and sustained severe frostbite injury to both back feet. One fell off. Twin Heart Animal Sanctuary got her at 5 weeks old. She's had several surgeries and now has outgrown her prostheses, and needs a new one!!

I hope that the money I raise can be put towards getting a new prosthetic leg for Zuri!
