Help Efren Alejo find victory against cancer!

Donation protected
Efren Alejo, who is the Youth/Worship Pastor at North Shore Bible Church, was recently diagnosed with colon cancer at the end of March this year. Efren is 40 years old and married to Temmy Alejo. Together, Temmy and Efren have 3 children. Their oldest, Maddi Alejo, is currently a Manson Apple Blossom princess and is planning to head to Grand Canyon University as a Freshman this November.

As a servant of the Lord, Efren has greatly impacted so many lives with his tenacity to remain hopeful and faithful to God no matter what life throws at him. There are many people far and wide that have been impacted by Efren's faith in God as he has mentored and encouraged so many youth and adults in our community and beyond. Efren has also given much of his time serving our community, including; serving as a Manson Volunteer Firefighter, serving as a mentor to students at Manson High School, and serving as a mentor at the Thrive Teen Center in Chelan. Now, Efren is continuing to impact our community with his faith as he chooses to be filled with the peace of God and continues to look to our Heavenly Father for strength and wisdom as he embarks on the fight for his life against this disease.

Efren is planning to begin receiving treatment for his cancer at New Hope Hospital in Arizona. Efren will need to live at this hospital for 2 weeks while he is treated and taught how to take care of his body and then he will return to his home in Manson. Upon his departure from New Hope Hospital, Efren will be given white blood cell shots that he will need to administer to himself on a weekly basis for the next 4-5 months. Once he returns to his home in Manson, Efren will also need to be in constant contact with a local New Hope approved doctor who will oversee Efren’s progress for the next 4-5 months. The cost of treatment from New Hope Hospital including travel expenses will come to roughly $40,000. New Hope Hospital only intakes 5 cancer patients at a time due to COVID restrictions, and Efren has already been selected as one lucky patient.

Efren is hoping to begin treatment at New Hope Hospital as soon as April 26th, but needs our help in financially making this hope come to life! Together, let's let Efren know that he and his family are not facing this battle alone, and that we are all walking right alongside him! If you are in a position to give to Efren's medical needs whether big or small, Efren and his family would forever be grateful! If you are unable to donate, Efren and his family would appreciate your prayers! No matter what, Efren is proclaiming and believing in the goodness of God and continuing to be a beacon of hope even in the midst of the current storm that he is facing. Let's all continue to follow in Efren's footsteps and look to God as we help Efren and pray with him on this difficult journey.

All proceeds given to this GoFundMe go directly to Efren Alejo.

Thank you in advance and massive love to you all!
