Terry Horne-Battling Glioblastoma
Donation protected
Hello, My father, Terry Horne who is just 54 years old was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive form of brain cancer, Stage 4 Glioblastoma in July 2018.
My dad is under the care of Dr. Khalid H. Kurtom, MD and his team at Easton Hospital in Maryland. In the wake of his surgery to remove the tumor he is now undergoing treatment, radiation five days a week, for six weeks; chemo and other medications to help him fight this disease.
Terry is a father, grandfather, son, brother, husband, uncle, friend, and he loves his family very much. He is always there to lend a hand to others in need, he has always enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time outdoors and spending time with his family. While speech therapy has been helpful, he struggles to find his words at times, but that has not stopped him from never forgetting to remind us why he continues to fight: for us.
We know the sum of money we're asking for may seem overwhelming, but with medical bills and living expenses mounting it is but an inconsequential amount in the grand scheme of things.
We are hoping to help ease the financial burden in any way possible, any and all donations are appreciated by myself, my father, and our family more than words could say.
We appreciate your prayers and thoughtfulness.
With love,
The Horne's
