help Tehya get a service dog

 



Hi im Tehya, i'm 15 and suffer from multiple psychiatric disabilities  my medical team has decided a working service dog is needed asap, as my old one has developed behavior issues and is being retired. The tasks a service dog can provide for me are essential so that i can function well and be happier. 

so why do i need your help? 
unfortunately, i am unable to owner train another service dog, and program dogs are the only option for me right now. however, they can cost anywhere from $7k too $60k with wait times from 2-5 years which is a lot and unattainable for low income families such as myself.

i have been able to find a good program that would only cost us about 10k.  its only a 12-18 month  waiting period for the whole process. we need help through crowdfunding and fundraising to be able too at least have the first payment (5k) ready for when there is a dog available. While we are looking into medical loans and grants/vouchers, they are all lengthy and unsure processes.

we are currently working on the application process and getting new up to date doctors letters (my old one was specific to my retiring service dog) but if anyone needs proof id be happy too send it. 

All funds will be accounted for and receipts will be shown, if we get over the price the rest will go too the dogs vet funds, food etc.
